Which machine do you need?
Not sure? Pick the one closest to your job and we will tell you if the other suits it better.
Do you need an operator?
Dry hire is the machine on its own, so you supply the operator. Operated hire, sometimes called wet hire, includes one of our licensed operators in the rate.
When do you need it?
Pick your first day, then your last day. Anything greyed out is either in the past or already booked.
Delivery or pickup?
Delivery is one flat fee by zone that covers both the drop off and the pickup. Collecting it yourself from our Mandurah yard costs nothing, as long as you can transport it.
Your details
We call to confirm the booking, usually within one business day.
How hiring works
-
1
You request the dates
Pick the machine and your dates above. The calendar already knows what is out on other jobs, so what you can select is genuinely available.
-
2
We confirm and lock it in
We call you back to go over site access, ground conditions and the final rate. On a dry hire, that is also when we check your operator's ticket.
-
3
Machine arrives on site
Delivered on the morning of day one, or collected from our Mandurah yard. Every machine goes out serviced with a current inspection.
-
4
We pick it back up
The hire ends when you tell us you are done. If you need it a few days longer, say so and we extend the existing hire at the same rate rather than starting a new one.
Where we deliver
Based in Mandurah, we deliver across the Peel region, Rockingham, Kwinana and south to Bunbury. Pick your suburb for local details.

Common questions
What is the difference between dry hire and operated hire?
Dry hire is the machine on its own, so you supply someone licensed to run it. Operated hire, which the industry also calls wet hire, includes one of our operators driving the machine for you, and their time is already in the rate. The spider lift only goes out operated, because setting it up on outriggers and reading the ground takes someone who does it regularly.
Do I need a licence to operate a scissor lift?
For a dry hire of a scissor lift under 11 metres you need a verification of competency, often called a VOC, or an EWP yellow card. A full high risk work licence is not required at that height. We check this before the machine leaves the yard, so have it ready.
Can you deliver to site?
Yes, across Mandurah, the Peel region, Rockingham and south to Bunbury. Delivery is one flat fee based on your zone, and that single fee covers both dropping the machine off and picking it back up. You can also collect it from our Mandurah yard at no cost if you have a truck and a plant trailer rated for it.
How is the weekly rate worked out?
Any hire of five days or more is charged at the weekly rate instead of five separate day rates, so a longer hire never ends up costing more than a shorter one. You do not need to ask for it. The booking form picks whichever rate is cheaper for you and shows you what it saved.
What happens if it rains?
Talk to us. Wind is usually the limiting factor rather than rain, and both machines have a stated maximum operating wind speed. If the weather genuinely stops the job on an operated hire we will work the days out with you.
Is the machine insured?
Our machines carry their own plant insurance. On a dry hire you are responsible for the machine while it is in your care, so check your own policy covers hired in plant before the day.
